Zirbe klein

The first 12 pictures of the cross-sections of the conifer needles are ready and presented in edition 2019. The following needs to be considered when watching the pictures:

  • presentation from an aesthetical point of view, not according to botanical-anatomical rules.
  • different staining methods have been used.
  • all pictures are panorama stacks (the number of pictures vary from around 500 and up to 3300).

Only a few hours ago the Photoadventure 2018 closed its doors. Thank you to all who participated in our seminars and workshops. Our most recent project "Conifer needles in cross section" initated a lot of interesting discussions - far beyond the topic. We are encouraged to continue this topic.

Slides of the "Megapixel seminar" are for download here (only in German).

Only two days left and this year's Photoadventure will open. We would like to draw your attention to a special seminar held on Sunday, November 25th, 9:30. Topic of the seminar is: "Megapixel, das Qualitätskriterium?" (is the amount of pixel really THE criteria to make a decision?) We think that this topic needs further and more in depth discussion.

We proudly present our seminars and workshops for 2019. In addition to our long lasting co-operation with the Prager Fotoschule we established a new co-operation with the Fotoschule Gesäuse. Besides slight modification on well-known topics we offer a new topic "photography of minerals". The complete program can be found here.
