Spring is in the air

Buschwindröschen (Anemone nemorosa)
While out walking, you’ll come across primroses, violets and liverwort, as well as the white wood anemone.

Spring has now arrived in the Mühlviertel too. There are splashes of colour everywhere. Yet photographing a white wood anemone is by no means out of place. The image of the flower is a stack and was taken in the studio.

While most people tend to focus on the parts of a plant that grow above ground, a plant would be nothing without its roots.
